Michelle D. Chambers,

M. Ed. (School Counseling)

Howdy!

Welcome to my site. I'm an elementary school counselor  as well as a teacher and principal here at Ekklesia Christian School.  I have been at Ekklesia since 1994 until present. I taught at S.S. Dillow and D. MCRae Elementary schools before I began at Ekklesia.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education (English and Reading Specializations).  I then obtained my Masters of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary and now have recently obtained my Masters degree in School Counseling from Lamar University.

I have received my Certification from FEMA for crisis intervention through the Emergency Management Institute.

I have been married for over 25 years and we have two children.  I love reading books and spending time with my family.

I provide a variety of services to the children, parents, teachers, and staff of the school. These services include but are not limited to: Individual Counseling, Small Group Counseling, Classroom Guidance Lessons, and Teacher / Parent Consultation.

See my training on the next link.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the Counseling Program. I look forward to working with you and your students throughout the year!
